Development Reports To:
Director of Philanthropy Position Summary The Annual Giving Specialist leads YPN's annual fundraising efforts by developing and executing strategies that grow philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. This role is responsible for annual giving campaigns, donor stewardship, grant management, fundraising communications & events, and data management to strengthen donor engagement and advance YPN's mission. Key Responsibilities Annual Giving & Fundraising Plan and execute annual fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, online giving, social media, peer-to-peer fundraising, and year-end appeals. Monitor campaign performance and recommend strategies to increase donor participation and revenue. Support annual fundraising events and donor engagement initiatives. Donor Relations & Stewardship Cultivate and steward annual donors through personalized communication and recognition. Manage donor acknowledgments, impact reporting, and stewardship activities to strengthen donor retention and giving. Represent YPN at community and donor events as needed. Grants & Foundation Support Manage the annual grants calendar, ensuring timely submission of proposals, reports, and renewals. Maintain grant records and steward relationships with foundation partners. Data & Operations Maintain accurate donor records within the CRM and ensure timely gift processing. Track fundraising metrics, analyze results, and prepare reports to inform fundraising strategies. Coordinate recurring giving, matching gifts, and other administrative fundraising functions. Communications Collaborate with marketing to develop donor stories, newsletters, appeals, and other fundraising communications that inspire giving and reinforce YPN's mission. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree (preferred) in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, public relations, or a related field preferred. Two to four years of experience in fundraising, development, marketing, customer relations, or a related field. Experience with donor databases or CRMs preferred. Knowledge & Skills Passion for YPN's mission and vision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, project management, and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Commitment to ethical fundraising practices and confidentiality. Success Measures Achievement of annual fundraising goals. Increased donor acquisition, retention, and recurring giving. Successful execution of annual campaigns and grant schedule. Accurate donor records, stewardship, and timely reporting
