Job Description

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of Creative Action Institute's mission and growth. The Development Director partners directly with the Executive Director to set strategic direction on resource mobilization and how it links to programmatic growth, drive organizational sustainability, and ensure our work is communicated clearly and visibly. The right candidate is a seasoned nonprofit executive who can hold both the big picture and the operational complexity required to move ambitious goals forward. They will lead the organization's resource mobilization while contributing to organization-wide planning and governance. As a critical leadership role, the Development Director will represent Creative Action Institute to major funders, partners, and stakeholders, and is expected to exercise independent judgment at the executive level and actively shape strategy together with the Executive Director.
