They oversee all fundraising and marketing efforts to: support donor appeals, corporate sponsorships, grant writing, donor cultivation, and special events as well as all marketing efforts to promote the mission and success of the organization. Reporting directing to the Chair of the CHCC Board of Directors and supervised by the Advancement Committee of the board, this role builds long-term relationships to hit financial targets. Key Responsibilities •
Fundraising Strategy:
Design and implement annual fundraising plans incorporating annual giving, and when directed support major gifts, and any delegated tasks pertaining to possible capital campaigns. •
Donor Relations:
Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of individual and corporate donors. •
Grant Management:
Research funding opportunities, write compelling proposals, and track grant deliverables. •
Event Planning:
Coordinate logistics, sponsorships, and volunteer committees for fundraising events and galas. •
Database & Analytics:
Maintain donor records via CRMs to analyze giving trends and draft progress reports for the board. Qualifications & Requirements •
Education:
Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, communications, business, or a related field. •
Experience:
2-5+ years of proven fundraising, development, or sales experience. •
Skills:
Excellent written/verbal communication, grant writing proficiency, and experience with donor databases (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Bloomerang, Salesforce). •
Soft Skills:
High emotional intelligence, networking ability, and a strong commitment to the organization's mission. Performance Metrics •
Financial Goals:
Meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets set for campaigns, grants, and events. •
Donor Retention & Growth:
Year-over-year increase in donor acquisition and retention rates. •
ROI:
Maintaining a healthy return on investment (ROI) for development expenditures and fundraising events.
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
