Development Manager
Job Description
Development Manager Our nonprofit client is seeking a Development Manager for their team! This direct-hire role will secure funds, grow the donor base, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to advance awareness of the organization's mission and work. Responsibilities of the Development Manager Help develop and execute annual fundraising strategies Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and follow-up Build and steward relationships with donors, board members, volunteers, and community partners Craft compelling donor communications and fundraising materials across multiple channels Research, write, and submit grant proposals to foundation, corporate, and municipal funders; coordinate all grantor reporting Maintain the donor database and ensure accuracy of all gift records for tax, audit, and historical purposes Monitor and evaluate fundraising outcomes and recommend improvements Prepare monthly development reports for the board and executive leadership Qualifications of the Development Manager Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in communications, business, public relations, or related field Certification, diploma, or similar qualification in fundraising Proven skill in fundraising, grant acquisition, donor relations, and nonprofit development Experience in writing grant proposals, press releases, and fundraising letters Experience with social media and digital marketing tools Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities Proven experience in planning and executing successful fundraising events and campaigns, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office, fundraising software, and donor database/CRM software Commitment to maintaining ethical fundraising practices and confidentiality Please share your resume in confidence for this Development Manager opportunity offering $57K-$77K/year, DOE, plus a generous benefits package.
