School Fundraising and Development Manager Drexel Academy | Tulsa, Oklahoma Full Time | On Site About Drexel Academy Drexel Academy is a private, donor supported elementary school serving children and families in North Tulsa. Position Overview Drexel Academy is seeking a highly organized, relationship focused, and mission driven School Fundraising and Development Manager to support and expand the school's fundraising and development efforts. The School Fundraising and Development Manager will play an important role in building the relationships and resources necessary to advance Drexel Academy's mission and strengthen the school's long term sustainability. This position will support individual giving, donor cultivation and stewardship, grant development, corporate and community partnerships, fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, special events, development communications, and development record keeping. The successful candidate will be both strategic and hands on . This individual should be comfortable researching prospective donors and foundations, preparing grant applications, communicating with supporters, maintaining development records, coordinating fundraising activities, preparing donor materials, and assisting school leadership with development initiatives. The position reports to the Executive Director and Superintendent and works closely with school leadership, the Board of Directors, donors, families, foundations, businesses, churches, and community partners. Key ResponsibilitiesFundraising and Development Assist in developing and implementing Drexel Academy's annual fundraising and development plan. Support annual fundraising goals and track progress throughout the year. Identify and research prospective individual, corporate, foundation, church, and community donors. Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective supporters. Assist with individual giving campaigns, annual appeals, special campaigns, sponsorships, and fundraising events. Help develop compelling opportunities for donors to invest in classrooms, scholarships, technology, literacy, student enrichment, facilities, and other school priorities. Support leadership with donor meetings, presentations, campus tours, and cultivation opportunities. Assist with fundraising strategies designed to increase both donor acquisition and donor retention. Grant Writing and Foundation Relations Research local, regional, and national grant opportunities that align with Drexel Academy's programs and priorities. Maintain an organized grant calendar with application deadlines, reporting requirements, and renewal dates. Assist in preparing letters of inquiry, grant applications, proposals, budgets, supporting documents, and grant reports. Maintain organized grant files and documentation.
