Through partnerships with schools, educators, and community organizations, SC4K helps children access essential items that boost confidence, improve attendance, and support academic success. Position Overview The Advancement Manager leads SC4K's fundraising strategy and donor development efforts to increase philanthropic support and strengthen long-term financial sustainability. This position cultivates relationships with individual, corporate, foundation, and community partners and oversees fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, donor engagement activities, and events. Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement SC4K's annual fundraising plan in partnership with the Executive Director.
  • Establish fundraising goals, strategies, and performance measures.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate, and major donors.
  • Develop strategies for donor acquisition, retention, upgrades, and planned giving.
  • Lead fundraising campaigns, appeals, sponsorships, and special initiatives.
  • Oversee fundraising event strategy, budgeting, sponsorships, and revenue goals.
  • Develop strategies to convert volunteers and community supporters into financial donors.
  • Manage donor recognition, appreciation, and stewardship activities.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and prepare fundraising reports and analyses.
  • Supervise development staff, interns, contractors, and volunteers, as assigned.
  • Serve as staff liaison to the Advancement Committee. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five to ten years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success securing major gifts, sponsorships, grants, or other revenue-generating partnerships.
  • Experience developing fundraising strategies and achieving revenue goals.
  • Experience managing fundraising campaigns, events, and donor stewardship activities.
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with nonprofit boards, volunteer committees, staff, interns, volunteers, or contractors.
  • Proficiency with donor databases and CRM systems. Experience with Little Green Light is a plus.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and OneDrive.
