This role focuses on donor engagement, fundraising events, development operations, and cultivation strategies that increase philanthropic support and strengthen the organization's long-term sustainability. This flexible, part-time consulting role is ideal for a self-motivated fundraising professional who can produce meaningful results while working independently and collaboratively. What You'll DoFundraising Strategy & Growth Partner with the Executive Director to develop and implement annual fundraising priorities and revenue goals Identify opportunities to diversify funding streams and strengthen donor engagement Recommend and implement strategies that increase unrestricted and sustainable funding Support the execution of Su Casa's fundraising strategic action plan Donor Relations & Stewardship Cultivate and strengthen relationships with individual donors, supporters, and community partners Assist with identifying, soliciting, and stewarding prospective and existing donors Develop donor communications, acknowledgments, and impact reports Help create meaningful donor experiences that deepen engagement with Su Casa's mission Development Operations Maintain accurate donor and fundraising records in DonorPerfect Manage fundraising calendars, prospect pipelines, and development tracking systems Ensure donor information, gift records, and development activities are consistently updated and accurately maintained Generate reports and donor lists as needed Community Engagement & Events Support fundraising campaigns, special events, donor cultivation activities, and sponsorship efforts Assist with corporate engagement and community partnership opportunities Develop compelling fundraising materials and impact stories that showcase Su Casa's work and outcomes What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of fundraising and development experience, including donor cultivation, donor retention, special events, direct mail, and/or digital fundraising Strong proficiency with donor management systems and CRMs, preferably DonorPerfect Demonstrated success cultivating and stewarding individual, foundation, and corporate donors Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Commitment to Su Casa's mission of ending domestic violence and supporting survivors Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in human services, domestic violence, social justice, or related nonprofit sectors Familiarity with the Southern California philanthropic landscape Knowledge of corporate giving trends and donor networks in Long Beach and Greater Los Angeles If you are a strategic fundraising professional who is passionate about social impact and ready to help strengthen an organization dedicated to ending domestic violence, we encourage you to apply.
