Job Description

Job Summary:
The Development Director will be responsible for supporting Common Ground Society (CGS) leadership team in implementing fundraising strategies and initiatives. These will include, but are not limited to, digital campaigns, individual giving, and special events, all of which are integral to supporting the mission and programs. The Director will report to and work closely with the Executive Director to achieve established goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of the year-round fundraising plan to meet revenue goals for the organization Work in partnership with leadership to project manage the Annual Gala Develop and implement year-round stewardship and cultivation plans for Be the One Gala guests, sponsors and donors Provide administrative support to maintain relationships with foundation and corporate funders and donors Manage the organization's donor database and ensure accurate and timely recording of all donor interactions Manage the organization's fundraising budget and ensure that all fundraising activities are conducted efficiently and effectively - report analysis to leadership quarterly Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Passion for Common Ground Society's mission and commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage and inspire donors Strong attention to detail, planning, organizational and follow-up skills Demonstrated ability to deliver high level customer service to all donors, vendors, volunteers and ambassadors of the CGS mission Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Experience with donor databases and fundraising software Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities at one time Must be willing and able to travel within our geographic service area with your own reliable transportation Background check required prior to employment
Compensation Range:
Determined based on experience $60-80k (base salary range) Approximately 40 hours per week

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
