Role Summary:

Position drives individual donor and foundation revenue by developing strategic fundraising campaigns, stewarding and managing donor relationships, increasing the number of foundations, and creating a major gift program. Additional duties include planning and implementing fundraising events, working with the grant writing consultant to develop grant proposals, maintaining CRM systems, and managing social media/media outreach to meet organizational financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy & Execution:

Create and implement annual campaigns, capital campaigns, major gifts cultivation, and fundraising plans to achieve revenue goals.

Donor Relations & Cultivation:

Identify, reach out to, and steward potential and current donors, including managing donor databases (CRM).

•

Grant Writing & Sponsorships:

Identify new funding opportunities, apply for grants, and secure business sponsorships.

•

Communications & Marketing:

Develop content for digital and print media, including newsletters, website updates, social media posts, and impact reports.

•

Event Planning:

Oversee and coordinate fundraising events and promotional events.

•

Brand Stewardship:

Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all external communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•

Experience:

Proven experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, communications, and event planning.

•

Communication Skills:

Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling, donor-centric narratives.

•

Relationship Management:

Strong interpersonal skills stewarding donors, working with volunteers, and staff.

•

Technical Proficiencies:

Experience with CRM software (e.g., Donor Perfect and digital tools (e.g., social media management, Adobe InDesign).

Organizational Skills:

Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Experience and Education Requirements

Education:

A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.

Experience:

Approximately 5+ years of proven experience in fundraising and communications or similar fundraising roles. Salary Range
