Remote Development Assistant

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Development Assistant for a mission-driven, community-focused nonprofit organization advancing public engagement and social impact through creative and cultural work. This is a fully remote role open to candidates across California. Position Overview This temp-to-hire position plays a key role in donor stewardship, fundraising operations, and administrative support while helping strengthen long-term sustainability. Perks Competitive hourly pay of $38-$42/hour Fully remote work environment with flexible scheduling Inclusive, collaborative culture that values autonomy and initiative Opportunity to contribute to meaningful mission-driven work Client-provided equipment and standard business hours with flexibility Responsibilities Support donor stewardship activities, gift processing, and donor communications Maintain and update donor records, reports, and fundraising data within CRM systems Provide administrative support for development initiatives, campaigns, and reporting Collaborate with internal team members to support fundraising and engagement efforts Manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy, organization, and follow-through Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and processes Qualifications Experience supporting nonprofit development, fundraising, or donor engagement efforts Experience with Salesforce, MS Office Suite, Zoom and Donor Search Clear, professional communication skills across written and verbal channels Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively Compensation And Benefits This role offers an hourly pay range of $38-$42 per hour.
