Duties Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors Develop comprehensive grant proposals, including narrative development, budget creation, and supporting documentation, ensuring clarity and persuasiveness Manage all aspects of grant submission processes, including deadlines, compliance requirements, and follow-up reporting Design, update, and maintain an engaging, accessible website that effectively communicates organizational mission, programs, and impact Collaborate with staff to gather content for website updates, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all digital platforms Edit and proofread grant proposals and website content for clarity, grammar, and tone to maximize impact Utilize databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM tools for tracking grants, donor information, and fundraising activities Coordinate with program staff to develop compelling grant cases that highlight organizational needs and community impact Manage project timelines related to grant writing and website redesign initiatives to ensure timely completion Conduct research on grant funding opportunities and best practices in nonprofit digital engagement Requirements Proven experience in grant proposal writing, including familiarity with nonprofit funding sources and government agencies Strong technical skills in website design using platforms such as WordPress or similar Content Management Systems (CMS) Database management experience with tools like Raiser's Edge or comparable CRM systems for tracking grants and donor data Excellent written communication skills with a focus on persuasive storytelling and technical writing abilities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Knowledge of nonprofit foundation operations, community organizations, and fundraising strategies within government contexts Strong editing, proofreading, and content development skills for both grants and digital content Experience in research related to grant funding opportunities and strategic planning for program development Organizational skills essential for creating a website and purchasing a domain.
