We're hiring enthusiastic, outgoing people to serve as Fundraising Launch Specialists, leading fun and engaging in person fundraiser kickoff meetings for high school athletic teams, performing arts programs, clubs, and other youth organizations throughout Long Beach, Orange County, San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire. This is not a sales position. Our Territory Managers have already earned the business. As a Launch Specialist, you'll help leading our kickoff presentation with the team to walk them through the process, and ensuring every fundraiser gets off to a strong start. No fundraising experience is required. We'll provide comprehensive training, a proven presentation materials, and ongoing coaching—you bring the personality, confidence, and energy. You'll often be joined by one of our Territory Managers, serving as additional support to help deliver an exceptional experience for every client. What You'll Do Lead engaging 30-45 minute in-person "Launch" meetings with groups. Deliver our proven presentation while making it your own through your personality and enthusiasm. Motivate students, coaches, and program leaders.l to share the fundraiser more. Read the room and adapt your delivery to keep every audience engaged. Answer common questions and help ensure each fundraiser is positioned for success. Represent our company with professionalism, positivity, and confidence. Report back to Territory Manager of the groups progress after each meeting (if the TM isn't present at that launch with you) What We're Looking For A confident performative communicator who enjoys speaking in front of groups. Charismatic, energetic, and naturally engaging. Comfortable connecting with both teenagers and adults. A quick thinker who can adapt to different personalities and situations. Dependable, organized, and punctual. Comfortable using basic mobile technology and following a proven process. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the local service area. Flexible Schedule This is a part-time, as-needed position designed to provide additional support during our busiest fundraising seasons. Kickoff meetings are typically held on weekday afternoons and early evenings. As opportunities become available, we'll send out a schedule of upcoming launches, and you can simply accept the assignments that fit your availability. There is no fixed weekly schedule, making this an ideal opportunity for college students, substitute teachers, coaches, performers, fitness instructors, or anyone looking for a flexible way to earn extra income. This position requires you to speak to groups of students, athletes or others and be engaging to lead them through the fundraising launch process. Do you have any experience public speaking or leading groups of people? If so, please describe. This position is paid per launch and is a 1099 position as a contractor. We are hiring Launch Specialists in several areas to keep up with our need and to make it convenient travel for you. We offer referral fees for new business from Launch Specialists.
