Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Grants and Scholarships Officer to join our team. In this role, you will lead efforts to secure funding through grants and scholarships, manage related databases, and develop compelling proposals. Your strategic planning and contract management skills will be vital in supporting our programs and expanding opportunities for our students. This paid position offers an exciting chance to contribute to educational excellence and community impact. Duties Research potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors Prepare and write detailed grant proposals, scholarship applications, and technical reports with clarity and precision Manage grant contracts from initiation through compliance monitoring, ensuring adherence to all terms Maintain and update databases such as Raiser's Edge to track applications, awards, and reporting deadlines Develop budgets, financial reports, and program development plans aligned with grant requirements Collaborate with internal teams to strategize funding opportunities and support fundraising initiatives Proofread and edit proposal documents for accuracy, consistency, and professionalism Qualifications Proven experience in grant proposal writing, technical writing, and editing Strong understanding of contract management processes and database systems like Raiser's Edge or similar platforms Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities Demonstrated ability in fundraising strategies and program development Exceptional writing skills with a focus on clarity, proofreading, and financial report writing Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, and compliance requirements for grants Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Join us as a Grants and Scholarships Officer to make a meaningful difference by securing vital funding that supports our educational mission.
