Active Treatment Specialist 1-2-3B The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs. Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated OCDD Active Treatment Specialist 1-2-3B to join our dynamic team. This position will help facilitate coordination, development, finalization, and implementation of an active treatment program in accordance with treatment goals and Title XIX regulations. A bachelor's degree in a social science or behavioral health field, or social work; OR Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license. - Define needed resources of terms of staff, materials, and supplies for implementation of active treatment programs including general adaptive training objectives.
- Formulate strategy sheets for general adaptive training, evaluate progress of skill acquisition by reviewing data and documentation in resident records and presentation of progress of IDT, initiate and incorporate revisions and recommendations into active treatment plan, coordinate service delivery with other departments (point person for IDT).
- Exercise functional supervision over direct care, clerical staff and all active treatment components of the ISP, including all professional staff comprising the support team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant treatment program protocols, utilization and support of treatment goals in plan development, support and monitor community involvement, attainment of treatment goals, naturalistic learning opportunities, individual rights, continual support of education, exposure, and skill acquisition in relation to transition planning.
- Prepare and finalize the Profile of Supports, facilitation of IDT meetings, including Profile of Supports and ISP, conduct on-site observations of treatment plan via reliability checks, implement plans, training/in-servicing of staff and individuals, and provide materials for implementation of programs including documentation sheets, probe sheets, strategy sheets, etc.
