Part-Time Development Manager -
Nonprofit Location:
Cambridge, MA, Fully onsite
Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
Pay:
$33.65-$36.06/hour Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Development Manager to support fundraising and development activities for a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Cambridge. Responsibilities Maintain donor records and fundraising activity in DonorPerfect. Track gifts, pledges, acknowledgements, and donor communications. Research prospective donors, foundations, and corporate funding opportunities. Draft grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funder reports. Maintain grant calendars and submission deadlines. Coordinate fundraising appeals through email, web, social media, and print. Assist with fundraising events and donor stewardship. Collaborate with finance, operations, and program staff on development initiatives. Provide additional project and administrative support as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment. Fundraising, development, grant writing, or donor relations experience preferred. Experience with DonorPerfect or another CRM/database is a plus. Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Canva and Constant Contact experience a plus. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Hire Partnership is an equal opportunity employer.
