PART TIME SOCIAL MEDIA AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
Organization Description:
The North Carolina Center on Actual Innocence (Center) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Durham, NC. The Center investigates and litigates innocence claims on behalf of unrepresented and indigent inmates convicted of felonies in North Carolina and South Carolina. Job Description:
Responsibilities include developing and managing social media in order to increase exposure and donor base; researching and identifying grant and donor opportunities; production of an impact report; and assisting with donor outreach.
Educational Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. required.
Specific Job Skills and Personal Qualifications:
  • Strong organization skills and work ethic
  • Prior experience and interest in social media
  • Strong research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and computer skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
  • Ability to work in a small, non-profit work environment

NCCAI Compensation:
  • Salary negotiable based on experience.
  • Number of hours negotiable and work hours flexible.
  • Benefits dependent on number of hours.
