Job Description

Job Overview Nonprofit in central NJ is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team and drive our mission forward through compelling funding proposals and reporting.
This role includes:
researching funding opportunities, developing innovative, persuasive grant proposals, and managing the entire grant lifecycle. Your expertise will help secure vital resources to support program development, strategic initiatives, and organizational growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by translating our vision into compelling narratives that resonate with funders and stakeholders alike. Responsibilities Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors. Develop clear, persuasive grant proposals and applications that align with funder priorities and organizational goals. Manage grant contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations through effective contract management practices. Track funding opportunities, submissions, and reporting deadlines. Write detailed financial reports, program summaries, and progress updates to demonstrate accountability and outcomes to funders. Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposals, reports, and strategic planning efforts. Proofread, edit, and refine all written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism before submission. Qualifications Experience in grant proposal writing, technical writing, and/or fundraising strategies. Strong research skills with the ability to identify suitable funding opportunities. Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for editing and proofreading. Superior communication skills to work with funders, partners, government agencies, and contracts personnel. Knowledge of contracts management, budgeting, and financial reports. Ability to develop programs strategically in alignment with organizational goals through strategic planning expertise. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
