The Director of Individual Giving is an exciting opportunity to help build the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County's individual giving program. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this position will strengthen the foundation of our fundraising efforts by enhancing donor data, improving stewardship, growing annual giving, and expanding our community of individual supporters. As the program grows, the Director will work alongside the Chief Development Officer to cultivate major donors, develop a comprehensive planned giving program, and create a sustainable pipeline of philanthropic support for the future. Primary Responsibilities

• Individual Giving, Donor Stewardship & Major Gifts (Approximately 60%)
• Build and grow the Club's individual giving program through donor acquisition, retention, renewal, stewardship, and increased philanthropic support.
• Serve as the primary administrator of DonorPerfect, ensuring accurate gift processing, acknowledgments, donor records, reporting, and database integrity.
• Analyze donor data and giving trends to identify opportunities for stronger donor engagement and increased giving.
• Coordinate the Club's annual appeal and other direct response fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the Chief Development Officer and Communications team.
• Partner with the Chief Development Officer to cultivate major donors, strengthen donor relationships, and expand philanthropic support.
• Help develop the Club's planned giving program by stewarding Legacy Society members, creating donor communications and marketing materials, coordinating educational opportunities, and supporting donor cultivation. Strategic Development Support (Approximately 25%)
• Support the development of corporate and foundation grant proposals and reports.
• Partner with the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships to develop sponsorship proposals and other fundraising materials.
• Collaborate on special fundraising initiatives and cross-functional development projects as assigned. Fundraising Events (Approximately 15%)
• Support the planning and execution of fundraising events.
• Coordinate post-event stewardship, acknowledgments, gift processing, and follow-up for individual donors. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five or more years of nonprofit fundraising or related development experience.
• Experience with individual giving, donor stewardship, and relationship management.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Experience with donor databases; DonorPerfect preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
• Commitment to the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends. Benefits

Working Conditions This position is based in a professional office environment with occasional travel to Club locations and community meetings. Some evening and weekend work is required to support donor meetings, fundraising events, and other organizational activities.
