Development Officer Redemption Community Development Corporation Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Part-time From $25 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Qualifications Client rapport building Bachelor's degree Fundraising Full Job Description Overview The Development Officer helps to fuel the financial engine and relationship ecosystem at Redemption Community Development Corporation (RCDC). Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this leader acts as a high capacity, relationship driven catalyst, designing and executing robust fundraising strategies while expanding our network of support. The ideal candidate possesses the elite soft skills to build authentic rapport, the self-motivation to hit measurable goals, and the confidence to articulately present major giving opportunities to high-net-worth individuals and partners. Responsibilities 1. The Development Officer executes strategic initiatives to systematically increase fundraising capital for RCDC's operational and project-specific needs. 2. The Development Officer proactively identifies, reaches out to, and cultivates relationships with prospective individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic organizations. 3. The Development Officer partners closely with the Executive Director to plan, launch, and execute fundraising events. 4. The Development Officer reimagines, improves, and executes RCDC's donor connection pipelines and follow-up processes to ensure timely, meaningful gratitude and impact reporting. 5. The Development Officer works with the Executive Director and Programs Director in cultivating "Redemption Network" relationships to ensure the overall flourishing and collaborative success of all interconnected entities (St. Paul's Community School, Redemption Church, Hilltop Clinic, and RCDC). 6. The Development Officer operates the donor CRM database, maintaining meticulous records of donor interactions, giving histories, and analytical reporting. 7. The Development Officer confidently and directly asks for high level financial support from high net worth individuals and corporate partners without hesitation. 8. The Development Officer works collaboratively with the Operations Director and leadership team to facilitate healthy organizational growth and data alignment. 9. The Development Officer executes various other promotional and advancement operations required by the Executive Director. 10. The Development Officer, along with all development staff, ensures all fundraising practices and procedures are upheld in accordance with the RCDC mission.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelors in Communications, Business, Non-Profit Management, Marketing, or a related field. Or 3+ yrs of fundraising experience.
Character & Integrity:
High moral character, discretion, and absolute trustworthiness; a proven ability to handle sensitive donor data and financial information with total transparency.
People-Oriented & Soft Skills:
People oriented with a natural ability to listen deeply, read rooms, and build authentic, long-term rapport.
Self-Motivated & Goal-Driven:
A self-starter who looks at fundraising benchmarks and proactively maps out a strategic, independent path to achieve them.
Detail-Oriented & Timely:
Organizational skills with a strict commitment to prompt follow-ups, precise CRM data entry, and rigid deadline management.
Preferred:
Systems Familiarity:
Direct experience operating and managing donor CRM databases, pipeline tracking, and fundraising workflows is highly preferred. Alignment with
