Employee Recognition Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting goals in relation to growth and census for Valir Hospice. Communicates with, and keeps the Director of Business Development informed of community responses regarding Valir Hospice, changes in trends, new providers, and changes in any current providers status. Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with representatives of the community, consumers, and employees. Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, developing new relationships to benefit the company. New relationships will be established and measured by the division, location, and needs of the provider or strategic relationship targeted. Travels to potential participants homes to conduct initial informational and needs assessment including completing the benefit election paperwork as needed. Develops specific weekly and monthly goals with leadership team to prioritize, organize, and accomplish all initiatives regarding development of referral sources. Maintains documentation of account profiles and daily contacts, and assists in analyzing monthly referral tracking reports as to effectiveness, and/or any emerging trends. Attends marketing, staff and interdisciplinary team meetings as required. Any and all other duties and responsibilities assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced, and at times, stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in marketing, businesses or other related field or a current valid nursing license preferred. 5 years minimum relevant experience. Healthcare experience preferred
