• Silver Spring, MD (Primarily Remote) Part-Time Position Summary ArtStream is a nonprofit performing arts organization where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autistic adults, work as artists, performers, creators, and collaborators. Through inclusive theatre companies, classes, cabarets, and community performances, we create opportunities for lifelong learning, creative expression, social connection, and artistic leadership. As ArtStream enters its 21st year, we are strengthening the fundraising systems and donor relationships that will sustain the organization's next chapter. We are seeking a highly organized, strong writer to support two priority areas of our development program: digital fundraising and grant development . This is a focused, deliverable-based role rather than a generalist fundraising position. The Development Associate works closely with the Director of Development to execute digital campaigns, strengthen donor stewardship, maintain accurate development records, and provide writing and administrative support for a growing institutional grants portfolio. The ideal contractor moves comfortably between compelling donor communications and detail-oriented development operations, turning a fundraising strategy into a well-executed email campaign, keeping donor information organized, helping prepare a strong grant narrative, and reliably carrying projects from assignment to completion.
