•We are seeking a talented and experienced Grant Writer to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing grants, a deep understanding of proposal writing, and a solid grasp of AI applications in the healthcare sector. This role involves researching, identifying, and applying for grants that align with our organization's mission and objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop compelling proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Research and identify potential grant opportunities in line with the organization's mission and objectives. 2. Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals within the stipulated timelines. This includes preparing supporting documents such as budgets, budget narratives, and presentations. 3. Develop a deep understanding of program content to ensure integrity and quality of proposal writing. 4. Monitor and manage grant income goal expectations. 5. Maintain a calendar to monitor grant application deadlines, submission of reports, and other compliance requirements. 6. Monitor grant applications and follow-up on submitted applications. 7. Build relationships with potential donors and maintain ongoing communication with key staff. 8. Collaborate with different teams to gather the necessary information for grant proposals. 9. Provide regular updates to the management team on the status of grant applications.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in grant writing, preferably in the healthcare industry. 3. Proven track record of securing grants. 4. Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail. 5. Proficiency in AI applications in the healthcare sector. 6. Strong understanding of budgets as they relate to proposals and grants. 7. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality. 8. Excellent organizational and project management skills. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
