Founded in 1982 , IES Language Foundation is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to promoting multilingualism, cultural understanding, and global citizenship through high-quality language education. For more than four decades, we have partnered with schools to deliver exceptional Spanish, Mandarin, and other world language programs while building bridges across cultures and communities. Position Overview This is a 100% commission-based Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity for an experienced fundraiser, grant writer, nonprofit development professional, business development specialist, or relationship builder who enjoys creating opportunities and making a lasting impact. We're looking for someone who can help us identify funding opportunities, cultivate donors and sponsors, prepare competitive grant proposals, and develop long-term fundraising strategies that will support the continued growth of IES Language Foundation. This position offers tremendous flexibility and unlimited earning potential for the right individual. Compensation 100% Commission-Based (Independent Contractor - 1099)

Compensation includes:

10% commission on qualifying funds successfully secured and received by IES Language Foundation through your direct fundraising, grant development, sponsorship, donor cultivation, or business development efforts, as outlined in the Independent Contractor Agreement. Responsibilities Research private, corporate, foundation, and government grant opportunities. Write and submit compelling grant proposals and supporting documentation. Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective donors, sponsors, and community partners. Develop corporate sponsorship opportunities. Assist in planning and implementing fundraising campaigns. Explore new funding opportunities aligned with IES's strategic vision. Help expand community partnerships and organizational visibility. Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, donor communications, and funding opportunities. Collaborate closely with the President and leadership team to transform innovative ideas into fundable projects. Recommend creative strategies for expanding the organization's long-term financial sustainability. Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of the following: Grant writing Nonprofit fundraising Development Corporate sponsorships Business development Sales Marketing Philanthropy Donor relations Successful candidates will also possess: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
