Required Degree:

Master's required in a STEM-related field. PhD preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

At least two years of experience with successful grant proposal submissions (federal, industry, or private).

Duties/Expectations:

Meet with faculty members one-on-one to discuss preparation of proposals or anticipated proposals Read, review, and edit grant proposals written by faculty as requested Work with faculty members to strengthen, revise, or otherwise improve their proposals Assist faculty in assessing sponsoring agency feedback in preparation for proposal resubmissions Coach faculty, especially new faculty members, on the grant-writing process Assist faculty in searching for applicable funding opportunities Prepare presentations, and present on a variety of research development topics Documents Required at the
