Project Manager Trainee Better Than Before Restoration (BTB) Serving Lauderdale, Colbert & Franklin Counties, AL and surrounding Middle TN areas | Full-time We're looking for someone who's done the trade work, is ready to trade some of it in for running jobsites and people, and wants a real path to becoming a Project Manager. About BTB Better Than Before Restoration (BTB) serves homeowners across Lauderdale, Colbert, and Franklin Counties in Alabama, as well as surrounding areas in Middle Tennessee, with water, fire, and storm restoration work. We're selective about the jobs we take and the people we bring on — we run on reputation, we pay what we owe on time, and we expect the people who represent us on a jobsite to take that as seriously as we do. About the Role We're looking for someone who's done trade work, is good at it, and is ready to do less of it with their hands and more of it with their head. This isn't a swinging-a-hammer-forever role — it's for someone who wants to grow into overseeing the work, not just doing it. You'll still need to be willing and able to pick up tools when a job calls for it, but do this well and it's a clear path to Project Manager. What You'll Do Check in on active jobsites and report status back to the Project Manager Help inspect new claims and walk residential properties to assess scope Notice and flag anything major that looks wrong on a jobsite — structural issues, safety hazards, and the like Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on a job — someone we're comfortable handing work off to and trusting to get it done right Step in on trade work yourself when a job needs it — sheetrock patching, painting, trim installation Support the PM with whatever keeps a job on schedule — material runs, sub coordination, punch-list work
