Full Job Description Description:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, and a desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee training.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the areas of merchandising, operations, sales and customer service Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service Partner with the Store Manager to establish and communicate all critical metrics and expectations within the store, including but not limited to sales, visual, operations, safety, loss prevention, human resources, payroll/scheduling, and training. Assist in the hiring, training, and development of store employees. Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment Maintain a safe and secure store environment for both employees and customers. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience; retail management experience a plus Proven experience in a retail/customer service environment Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques Ability to train, coach, develop and motivate employees Demonstrate effective interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems. Ability to lift up to 25lbs
