We are growing and looking for a strong General Manager to lead our West Hollywood studio . This is a hands-on leadership and sales role for someone who loves people, understands how to grow a membership-based business, and takes ownership of results. The right person is not simply maintaining the studio — they are actively building it.
POSITION
The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day success of the West Hollywood studio, with a strong focus on membership growth, sales, team leadership, client experience, studio operations, and local community development . You will work closely with ownership while having the independence to identify opportunities, solve problems, and execute strategies that grow the studio.WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

2+ years of , retail, membership sales, or another sales-driven environment Previous management or team leadership experience strongly preferred Proven ability to generate and close sales Comfortable speaking with leads by phone, text, email, and in person Experience working toward measurable sales and revenue goals Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to coach employees on sales conversations and client experience Ability to analyze studio performance, leads, conversions, attendance, and membership trends Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail Comfortable using CRM, scheduling, POS, and studio management software Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with ownership Strong judgment and problem-solving skillsRESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Membership Growth Own the studio's membership sales goals Convert new clients, intro clients, drop-ins, and leads into memberships Follow up consistently with leads through phone calls, texts, email, and in-studio conversations Ensure every lead receives timely and professional follow-up Track lead status, conversions, objections, and lost-sale reasons Train and coach front desk/sales associates on the Figue Madera sales process Conduct membership consultations and confidently recommend the right option for each client Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and revenue Develop local partnerships, referral opportunities, and grassroots marketing initiatives Studio Leadership Lead the studio team and create clear expectations around performance, professionalism, and client experience Manage and support sales/front desk staff Oversee instructor performance, reliability, professionalism, and studio standards Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management Review staffing needs and schedules based on studio demand Hold the team accountable while maintaining a positive and supportive studio culture Client Experience Create an elevated, welcoming experience from the moment a client walks into the studio Build relationships with members and become a recognizable leader within the community Handle client concerns and service recovery professionally Recognize member milestones, birthdays, prospects, and opportunities for stronger client relationships Ensure new clients feel welcomed, educated, and supported throughout their first experience Studio Operations Oversee daily studio operations Ensure the studio is consistently clean, organized, stocked, and presentation-ready Monitor class utilization and make recommendations regarding the schedule Review attendance, sales, membership, cancellation, and revenue reports Maintain accurate inventory and coordinate retail or studio supply needs Ensure studio policies and operating procedures are consistently followed Identify operational issues before they become larger problems Marketing & Community Growth Build relationships with local businesses, hotels, residential communities, influencers, and complementary brands Participate in local events, activations, collaborations, and studio promotions Support studio events and partnerships Work with ownership and marketing partners to improve lead generation and conversion Understand the West Hollywood market and actively look for opportunities to increase studio awarenessSUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE
You know your numbers. You know how many leads entered the studio, who followed up with them, why they did or did not purchase, and what needs to happen next. You are comfortable being accountable for membership growth and helping your team improve their performance. You notice when something is not working and take initiative to fix it.
