Create cross-organizational alignment:

Coordinate partners that do not share a reporting line; prepare high-stakes meetings, document commitments, manage handoffs, and escalate unresolved decisions early. 2. COUNTai product ownership and vendor management Represent the Foundation at the product table: Support decisions about what COUNTai should deliver and in what order, with priorities grounded in mission, study requirements, user needs, privacy, and available resources.

Define and accept deliverables:

Translate desired outcomes into clear requirements and a practical definition of done; review completed work, accept it when requirements are met, or return it with specific feedback.

Manage technical vendors and scope:

Track deliverables, milestones, budgets, dependencies, and agreed roles with software developers and scientific data partners; challenge scope that does not serve 2m Foundation or COUNTai. 3. Study, grant, and data stewardship Support human-subjects research operations: Coordinate consent workflows, participant recruitment and retention, protocol adherence, documentation, and issue escalation in partnership with scientific leadership.

Execute the grant operating plan:

Coordinate three organizations, separate budgets, milestones, partner subawards, supporting documentation, and timely NIH progress reporting.

Protect trust and data sovereignty:

Embed privacy and consent into operational decisions and explain de-identification, data use, and participant choice clearly to families, partners, and institutional stakeholders. 4. Community adoption, launch, and partner execution Build the participation infrastructure: Create onboarding, education, user support, escalation, feedback, and retention systems for non-technical users and community partners.

Activate a diverse partner network:

Turn trusted relationships

•from grassroots advocacy organizations to research and federal science partners

Deliver launch and event readiness:

Coordinate operational readiness for the COUNTai launch and related events, including planned hackathon and first quarter launch event; surface risks early and capture lessons for future scale and funding.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS

LIKEWithin the first 90 days Clear governance: Decision rights, product priorities, vendor responsibilities, definitions of done, escalation paths, and operating rhythms are documented and in use.

Launch and study readiness:

A unified plan covers launch dependencies, IRB and consent workflows, recruitment, retention, protocol adherence, partner onboarding, user support, events, and grant milestones.

Measurable baselines:

Dashboards establish starting points and targets for enrolled participants, active users, 90-day retention, data completeness, support response time, partner activation, budget status, and milestone delivery. By 12 months Sustained participation: Participant enrollment and retention are on plan; active-user growth is progressing toward the 10,000-user goal; and partner organizations are successfully recruiting, onboarding, and supporting users.

Reliable operations and evidence:

Data completeness, support response, protocol adherence, vendor delivery, grant milestones, and reporting are visible, timely, and improving; launch systems can operate without constant executive intervention.
