Job Description
We are now seeking an Assistant General Manager at Heritage Estates ! This position requires experience in the planning and of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects. About the Role As the Assistant Manager , you'll partner closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the community while helping create an exceptional experience for residents, families, and employees. What You'll Do Support daily operations across multiple departments, including Dining, Housekeeping, Plant Operations, Guest Services, Transportation, Marketing, and Health & Wellness. Partner with the General Manager to ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable community operations. Assists in the planning and prioritization of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, supporting decision making based on return on investment (ROI), life-safety considerations, and operational impact. Assists with project and vendor coordination, including bidding processes, timeline management, budget tracking, and minimizing operational disruption. Ensures projects are aligned with applicable regulatory, life-safety, ADA, OSHA, and company requirements. Assist with community licensing, regulatory compliance, documentation, and risk management. Collaborate with department leaders to improve operational performance and the resident experience. Support community sales and marketing efforts while serving as a liaison between residents, families, and leadership. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with CapEx projects. Minimum of 3 years of progressive management experience. Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience with the planning and prioritization of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects. At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading teams. Healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or related leadership experience preferred. Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. State Assisted Living/Residential Care Administrator certification required, where applicable.
