KHB Construction is a growing construction company with two locations in CA, looking to strategically grow into 3 more markets by 2027. With your leadership at our central valley location, you will be a part of a movement in the design build space yet to be seen in California. As the General Manager, you will manage and grow our high-volume construction company in both revenue and profitability. Using your positive attitude and genuine care for our employees, you will tackle small details without ever losing sight of the big picture. Your proven industry experience and business acumen will drive growth, ensuring our success. You will maintain and grow customer relationships, motivate employees, and drive revenue streams, enabling you to crush goals and reap rewards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a team culture that delivers excellent customer service.
  • Champion key business metrics and reporting, managing business units based on their metrics-based goals.
  • Communicate and implement our vision, mission, and overall direction.
  • Guarantee that every employee understands their strategic significance to the company.
  • Lead managers of other divisions.
  • Drive sales by following the company's processes and training.
  • Help implement the strategic plan and work with every level of the organization to execute.
  • Stay aware of the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, industry developments, and standards.
  • Evaluate success or failure using strategic performance indicators.
  • Manage and develop staff, including hiring, terminating, and disciplining employees, setting schedules, work priorities, conducting staff meetings, coaching employees, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments to ensure effective use of resources and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate workload to best utilize personnel and maximize profits.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are followed.
  • Observe all safety and company rules and regulations.
  • Deliver goals and metrics for the assigned team and ensure monthly goals are met.
  • Oversee facility and equipment maintenance; ensure assets are protected and controlled.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
  • Generate reports and measures of departmental operations.
  • Monitor inventory, tools, and vehicles.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper materials and equipment are ordered and dispersed.
  • Instruct technicians on proper use of materials and quality workmanship.
  • Maintain ongoing training of technicians.
  • Ensure employees have and maintain proper tools.
  • Evaluate staff to determine training requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction business management role, including KPI/P&L management.
  • Proficient with Excel, Project Management tools and CRM's
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Understanding quality management principles, especially effective communication.
  • Experience with management and conflict resolution.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Consistent delivery of high-level customer service.
  • Ability to motivate a team.
  • Ability to pass a drug test, background screening, and possess a clean driving record.
Benefits:
Quarterly and Annual bonuses $90,000 Base with no cap on compensation for performance bonuses If you do your job effectively, you will make $160-$190K/Annual Health, Dental, Vision insurance Paid holidays, sick days, and vacation 401k
