Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Assistant Manager (DFC) will support the daily operations of the Distribution Fulfillment Center (DFC) by ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and achieving operational goals. This role involves managing a team, optimizing processes, and collaborating with various departments to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of associates to meet daily operational targets and maintain high productivity levels. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards within the DFC. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed. Assist in the development and training of team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner. Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making to enhance the DFC's performance and service delivery.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial or operational management role. Proven track record of managing teams and driving performance improvements. Experience in developing and implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in financial analysis and budgeting, with a solid understanding of financial principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using financial management software and tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and execute projects effectively.
