This is an excellent opportunity for a hotel manager who understands both strong guest service and the financial discipline required to operate a successful limited-service property. This is not a desk-only Assistant General Manager position. The successful candidate will be highly visible throughout the hotel, actively involved with guests and employees, and comfortable assisting with the day-to-day operation of a lean, limited-service hotel. - Experience operating a limited-service or select-service hotel
- Strong understanding of hotel financial statements, operating expenses, and profitability

- Being highly visible and actively involved in daily hotel operations
- Monitoring room cleanliness and conducting regular room and property inspections

- Participating in revenue-management discussions with the GM, revenue manager, and ownership
- Assisting management in protecting ADR while maximizing occupancy and total room revenue
- Reviewing monthly financial performance and identifying opportunities to improve profitability

- Maintaining operational, safety, and quality standards
- Assisting with employee discipline, performance management, and accountability
- Acting as the senior manager responsible for the property when the General Manager is absent
- Communicating regularly with the General Manager and ownership regarding hotel operations and performance The Right Person for This Hotel We are looking for someone who understands that running a successful 123-room limited-service hotel requires a hands-on management team.
You should be equally comfortable reviewing a P&L or STR report, inspecting a guest room, assisting the front desk during a busy arrival period, addressing a guest concern, reviewing housekeeping productivity, and adjusting staffing when occupancy changes. We want an AGM who understands that great guest service and strong financial performance must work together. Our goal is not simply to control payroll by reducing service. It is to schedule intelligently, operate efficiently, eliminate waste, and maintain the staffing necessary to deliver a quality guest experience while protecting the profitability of the hotel. The AGM should understand that the objective of hotel management is not simply to keep the hotel operating - it is to operate the property well and profitably.
