WORK MODEL
FieldWHAT YOU WILL DO
Oversee and manage all regional activities with regard to sales performance, product distribution, dealer development, parts, service, training, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for both strategic and tactical overall direction of region.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Establish overall regional strategic direction. Establish regional priorities and objectives. Develop plans and strategies to attain regularly assigned objectives. Coordinate and implement all national programs on a regional basis. Foster strong dealer relations in region, including dealer development. Ensure Dealers facilities are at or above standards set by HMA. Responsible for development and monitoring of regional budget. Responsible for regional human resources function to include development of personnel, annual personnel reviews, development of succession plans. Oversee regional advertising and marketing efforts. Attainment of regional CSI (HPI, HSI) objectives. Extensive overnight travel. The General Manager position has responsibility for all personnel, budget and dealer issues.WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
High school graduate preferred. Bachelor's degree plus. Master's degree a plus. Fifteen plus years of automotive experience required. Prior dealer contact experience as aRSM, RPSM
desired. National headquarters experience recommended. Seven to ten years of remote team and staff supervisory experience desired. Ten plus years of wholesale experience desired. Experienced in Dealer Network and Planning. Customer Satisfaction. Strong management and analytical skills coupled with progressive background in Dealer contact experience. Must be comfortable in conversing with Dealers and employees on all facets and levels of the automotive business. Excellent Time Management skills. Excellent Communication (written, oral presentation) skills. Proven Leadership skills. Excellent Organizational skills. Excellent Knowledge of Automotive Retail/Wholesale Sales, Service & Parts operations. Excellent computer based skills in Excel, Power Point, Word or similar PC software with working knowledge of data manipulation/management. Strong negotiating skills.WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
Compensation Range:
$178,200- $264,000 annual base salary Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance) Holiday Pay
