Technical Knowledge Works well under pressure, uses problem solving skills, and has a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, iPhone, iTunes, and Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of typical office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc. 5. Drive Self-motivated with a desire to learn and willing to go above and beyond, works well with minimal or no supervision. Driven to learn more and take on more responsibility. Responsibilities Present property and amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants. Advertise available units and property on various media platforms. Determine the needs, living standards and housing requirements of prospective tenants. Accept rental applications, screen prospective and negotiate leasing terms. Draft property documents including lease violations, lease amendments, delinquencies notices, tenant communication and other required documents. Ensure all documents completed accurately and according to company policy. Maintain property audit system including regulatory compliance. Own and manage security disbursement process including, walk-thrus, vendor schedule, Make Ready Board, and vacancy reports. Support Community Manager in eviction process. Support Maintenance Supervisor in managing work orders and vendor invoices. Support sister properties in staffing and operational needs Attend regular staff meetings including, developmental, safety, corporate and other meetings as assigned. Remain knowledgeable in housing industry and market trends. Support maintenance staff by issuing work orders, periodic property inspection and scheduling maintenance appointments. Act as a liaison between tenants, corporate staff, property owners and government regulators. Fulfill all Community Manager responsibilities when Community Manager is absent from office. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Physical Demands Walk, stand, run, sit, stoop, kneel and climb stairs. Ability to work indoors and outdoors under multiple weather conditions based on business need. Ability to work in typical office setting for multiple hours at a time. Ability to work on short notice based on business need. Qualifications Proven work experience in property management a plus. Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices. Knowledgeable in Fair Credit, Equal Housing a plus.
