Job Description

General Manager - Collision Repair Colorado | Full-Time $90,000-$110,000 Base + Performance Bonus & Commission This Role Is for Someone Who Can Take the Wheel. We are searching for an experienced collision repair operator to take responsibility for a Colorado location and lead it at a high level. This position requires more than management experience. We need someone who can walk into a busy operation, understand what is happening quickly, identify where performance is being left on the table, and get people aligned around a clear plan. Production. People. Profitability. Customer experience. You need to be comfortable owning all four. If you've already proven that you can successfully run a collision center, this could be a strong next move. The Assignment You'll have responsibility for the overall performance of the location.
Your focus will include:
Building and leading a high-performing shop team Managing daily production and workflow Driving revenue and gross profit Improving labor efficiency and productivity Managing cycle time, touch time, and throughput Reviewing shop KPIs and acting on what the numbers show Maintaining appropriate staffing levels Recruiting and retaining strong employees Coaching underperformers and developing top performers Keeping estimating, parts, body, paint, detail, and front-office teams aligned Maintaining strong repair quality Ensuring OEM procedures and operational standards are followed Maintaining customer satisfaction Managing expenses and protecting profitability Supporting insurance and DRP relationships Removing roadblocks that slow down production The Person We're Looking For You've already managed in collision repair. You understand how a shop actually makes money, where it loses money, and how seemingly small operational problems can quickly impact the entire month. You're comfortable making decisions. You hold people accountable. You communicate expectations clearly. And when something isn't working, you don't wait for someone else to fix it. Required Experience Previous collision repair management experience Experience leading a production-focused collision center Strong understanding of the complete collision repair process Knowledge of insurance claims and DRP operations Experience managing shop financials and profitability Strong understanding of operational KPIs Experience leading technicians, estimators, production, parts, and administrative teams Ability to recruit, coach, and retain employees Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Excellent communication and leadership skills Valid driver's license
I-CAR, ASE, OEM
certifications, and additional industry training are a plus. You Need to Know the Numbers This position requires someone who can look beyond total sales. You should understand what is driving: Gross Profit | Labor Efficiency | Productivity | Cycle Time | Touch Time | Throughput | Closing Ratio | Expenses | CSI More importantly, you need to know what to do when one of those numbers starts moving in the wrong direction. We're looking for someone who can turn information into action.
Compensation Base Salary:
$90,000-$110,000 Additional performance-based bonus and commission opportunities are available. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, leadership background, and demonstrated ability to operate a successful collision repair facility. Benefits A competitive benefits package is offered and will be discussed in person during the interview process. What You'll Be Walking Into This is an established collision repair operation backed by a growing multi-location organization. You'll have the resources and support necessary to run the business, but you'll also have the responsibility that comes with leading it. We're not searching for someone who needs every decision made for them. We want a GM who can evaluate the operation, establish priorities, develop the team, execute a plan, and deliver measurable results. Interested? You don't need a perfectly updated résumé to start a conversation. If you have significant collision repair leadership experience and a track record of successfully running a shop, apply through Indeed. Qualified applicants will be contacted to discuss the position, organization, location, compensation structure, and benefits in greater detail. This search is being conducted confidentially. All applications and conversations will be handled accordingly.
