•170,000 base + performance-based incentive The Opportunity A growing Colorado skilled-trades organization is seeking an experienced General Manager to build and lead a new HVAC operation in the Denver market . This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical professional who knows how to build teams, manage field operations, drive profitability, and develop strong customer relationships. The General Manager will have significant responsibility for the operation, including P&L performance, hiring, team development, project execution, customer relationships, operational systems, and growth . This is an ideal opportunity for an entrepreneurial trade leader who wants to build a business—not simply inherit and maintain an existing department. Key Responsibilities Build and lead the HVAC operation, team, processes, and culture Recruit, develop, and retain technicians, installers, apprentices, crew leads, and project leaders Own budgets, forecasting, job costing, labor productivity, margins, and overall profitability Oversee multiple projects from planning through completion Manage scheduling, manpower, materials, equipment, vendors, and subcontractors Establish strong standards for safety, quality, productivity, and customer service Review plans, specifications, scopes, schedules, and manpower requirements Build relationships with builders, general contractors, developers, and customers Identify opportunities for growth across residential, new construction, multifamily, and commercial markets Develop scalable operating systems and future leaders Ideal Background We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, or a related skilled trade who has progressed into meaningful operational and financial leadership.

Successful candidates will ideally bring:

Significant HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical trade experience Leadership experience managing multiple crews, projects, and field operations Strong financial and business management skills, including P&L, budgets, labor costs, job costing, and profitability Experience recruiting and developing skilled-trades professionals Ability to read construction plans and specifications Strong knowledge of construction and mechanical systems Excellent communication and customer relationship skills An entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership style Highly valued experience includes: Journeyman or Master-level plumbing background HVAC and boiler experience Commercial mechanical experience New construction and/or multifamily experience Experience building a trade business or business unit Full P&L responsibility Colorado licensing or ability to satisfy applicable licensing requirements Why This Opportunity?
