Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director / Property Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a three small properties. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident services, efficient property operations, and compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, leadership, and administrative expertise, driving the success of our properties while fostering positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and community partners. This full-time paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant community-focused organization. Duties Lead the daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring smooth and efficient management across all functions including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations Develop and implement strategic plans for property improvement, occupancy growth, and revenue enhancement Oversee leasing activities, including lease or rental agreement management, tenant screening, and move-in/move-out procedures Manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial targets are met through effective budgeting and cost control measures Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, and other applicable legal standards Utilize property management tools such as PHA-Web to maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and reporting processes Supervise staff members across various roles including maintenance personnel, and administrative staff; foster a collaborative team environment focused on excellent customer service Handle client communication with professionalism via phone etiquette and written correspondence; resolve conflicts promptly through effective conflict management strategies Oversee property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safety standards are met and properties remain attractive to residents Conduct regular inspections, and safety checks; coordinate repairs or upgrades as needed to uphold property quality standards Skills Proficiency in property management software for data entry, reporting, and lease administration Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and related legal frameworks Extensive experience in real estate administrative functions including contracts negotiation, lease management, budgeting, and financial reporting Proven ability to lead teams effectively through team management skills; motivate staff to achieve operational excellence Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client communication and relationship building Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation to address tenant concerns or contractual issues diplomatically Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and facilities management best practices Office experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and correspondence purposes Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in data entry and filing tasks Join us in this vital leadership role where your expertise will directly influence the success of our properties while creating welcoming communities for residents.
