Full-Time | Monday-Friday | On-Site About EcoCuts EcoCuts is the custom fabrication division of EcoSupply, specializing in CNC machining and fabrication of premium architectural materials with a focus on sustainability. We partner with architects, designers, builders, manufacturers, and homeowners to transform innovative ideas into high-quality custom products for commercial and residential applications. The Opportunity We are seeking a General Manager to lead EcoCuts. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the division's operations, customer experience, team leadership, profitability, and continued growth. As General Manager, you'll lead every aspect of the business—from customer engagement and estimating through production, delivery, and continuous improvement. You'll have the autonomy to improve processes, expand capabilities, develop new products, strengthen customer relationships, and build a high-performing team. The General Manager will have the autonomy to shape processes, influence strategy, develop new capabilities, and help define the long-term direction of a growing business.   • Project Estimating
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the EcoCuts division, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee customer engagement from initial inquiry through estimating, project planning, fabrication, delivery, installation, and project closeout.
  • Manage production planning, scheduling, inventory, equipment, and shop operations to maximize efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with architects, designers, builders, manufacturers, homeowners, and strategic partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operations, expand fabrication capabilities, develop proprietary products, and drive business growth.
  • Manage the division's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, job profitability, and operational reporting.
  • Champion workplace safety, quality standards, and operational excellence across every aspect of the business. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means building a business that consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences while operating safely, efficiently, and profitably.

  • Build and develop a high-performing team committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. What You'll Bring We're looking for a leader who enjoys building businesses, solving problems, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Experience leading operations within a fabrication, manufacturing, millwork, construction, or related environment.
  • Basic understanding of CNC fabrication and machining. (EcoCuts has a senior CNC operator.)
  • Strong project management and estimating skills.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical documents.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Desire and creativity to design, fabricate and bring to market lines of custom products
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • OSHA 10 certification / Forklift certification, or willingness to become certified.
The ideal candidate will have experience with—or the ability to quickly learn—the business processes and technology platforms that support a modern fabrication operation, including estimating, CRM, production scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, accounting, and job profitability software. Experience with HubSpot, QuickBooks, Excel, or similar platforms is preferred but not required.
