Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a growing, customer-focused organization in the home design and interiors industry. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a strategic leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and creating an exceptional customer experience. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the business, including operations, sales, customer experience, financial performance, vendor relationships, and team development. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Lead the overall operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service. Develop and execute strategic plans that support company growth and operational excellence. Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team through consistent leadership and accountability. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and identify opportunities for improvement. Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance while maintaining strong cost controls. Collaborate with sales, design, installation, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish. Evaluate and improve business processes, leveraging technology and AI where appropriate to increase efficiency and scalability. Develop strong relationships with vendors, trade partners, and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices. Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing operations, business units, or multiple departments. Proven success leading teams and driving business performance. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L responsibility, and operational metrics. Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements. Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style and strong execution skills. Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Experience within home building, construction, interiors, design, retail operations, manufacturing, or a related industry is preferred but not required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
