Job Description
General Manager - HVAC Operations Join a growing, family-owned residential HVAC company that focuses on operational excellence, customer experience, and long-term growth. We are currently seeking a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations, develop teams, and drive overall business. Responsibilities Lead daily operations of the HVAC business including service, install, sales, dispatch, and customer experience Drive revenue growth, profitability, and gross margin performance Develop and coach managers, technicians, and office staff Monitor KPIs including sales conversion, average ticket, close rates, labor efficiency, maintenance growth, and customer satisfaction Ensure operational processes and company standards are followed Manage staffing, recruiting, training, and employee accountability Oversee budgeting, inventory, fleet, and operational expenses Maintain a strong culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and customer service Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local code requirements Requirements 1+ years of leadership experience in the HVAC industry Understanding of residential HVAC/ Plumbing operations, service, install, and sales Financial and KPI management experience Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong attendance record and history of reliability Valid driver's license with good driving record Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and reference check Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary based on experience and qualifications with bonuses Company vehicle Paid holidays and paid vacation Company-sponsored health and dental insurance available after 90 days Vision insurance
