This is a full time position. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. This role is essential in supporting the management of daily operations, ensuring that our retail environment runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a knack for inventory control, and the ability to supervise staff effectively. As an Associate Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a positive work culture while driving sales and customer satisfaction. Duties Assist in managing daily operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Supervise and train staff, providing guidance on best practices for customer service and sales techniques. Oversee inventory control processes, including stock management and replenishment. Collaborate with the management team to implement effective shift management strategies. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity of tasks and objectives. Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions regarding inventory levels. Negotiate with vendors as needed to secure favorable terms for stock purchases. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both employees and customers. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a retail environment. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of inventory control processes and retail math principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
