Ideal candidates will have retail experience, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the industry. The role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the store maintains an inviting and organized environment. Prior experience with POS systems, merchandising, and upselling will be highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills in a dynamic retail setting while providing exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about new or featured items Upsell products to increase sales while ensuring customer satisfaction Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times Enforce store policies and ensure compliance with safety standards Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional etiquette and provide excellent service Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed Supervise or assist in supervising other team members when required Skills Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation Ability to upsell products confidently and professionally Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos preferred Supervising experience is advantageous but not required Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail transactions Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
