$80,000/year Full-Time, Year-Round Start ASAP Team Trend is hiring a General Manager to oversee our Fort Myers operation. This role is responsible for the day-to-day performance of the business leading both field operations and office staff, ensuring everything runs efficiently, and acting as a key connector between ownership and the team. We're looking for someone who understands logistics, thrives in fast-paced environments, and knows how to lead people while keeping operations moving.
Job Summary:
Operations Leadership Oversee daily operations across moving, delivery, and logistics services Ensure schedules, crews, and resources are aligned to meet demand Maintain accountability for branch performance, including operational efficiency, cost control, and overall profitability Identify gaps, solve problems quickly, and keep operations running smoothly Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture across all departments Team Leadership & Oversight Lead and support both field teams and office staff Willingness to step in and support operations when needed and leading by example, not just direction Provide direction, accountability, and day-to-day guidance across departments Act as the main point of contact between operations and ownership Build a strong, positive, and accountable team culture Planning & Execution Oversee work planning, scheduling, and staffing to ensure full operational coverage Support and guide dispatch, administrative, and field leadership Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to company standards Performance & Accountability Monitor daily performance, productivity, and service quality Strong ability to utilize and navigate multiple computer systems, operational platforms, and applications efficiently Address issues proactively from customer concerns to operational inefficiencies Ensure teams are meeting expectations for safety, service, and execution Customer & Business Support Step in on escalated customer issues when needed Support business growth through strong execution and team performance Maintain a high standard of customer experience across all services This role is the heartbeat of the operation, the person ensuring everything runs, teams stay aligned, and customers are taken care of. You'll serve as a leader, problem solver, and operational buffer between ownership and the day-to-day business.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience in logistics, moving, delivery, or service-based operations Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Demonstrated strength in work planning, scheduling, and employee time management, with the ability to oversee and optimize daily operations across multiple teams Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive work environment Comfortable being both hands-on and strategic when needed
Benefits:
Medical, Dental, and Vision insurances after 90 days. Participation in 401(k) plan, with company match up to 4%, after 1,000 hours of service. 13 days of PTO per year with paid holidays that are reserved by Trend. Preferred (Not Required): Experience overseeing multi-division operations (moving, delivery, logistics, etc.) Bilingual (Spanish/English) Ability to sit for long periods of time, using a computer and phone. Ability to lift heavy objects (75lb+)
