$45,000 per year + performance-based bonus Position Summary My Place Hotel - Meridian is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, team performance, guest satisfaction, and financial results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations, excellent leadership skills, and a minimum of 10 years of hospitality experience , with demonstrated management or supervisory experience. Key Responsibilities Assist the General Manager with the overall operation and management of the hotel. Oversee daily operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and guest services. Ensure an exceptional guest experience and respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns. Lead, train, motivate, and develop hotel employees. Monitor staff schedules, attendance, productivity, and performance. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service throughout the property. Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, room revenue, expenses, and other key hotel performance indicators. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, payroll, purchasing, and expense control. Support sales and revenue-management initiatives to maximize hotel occupancy and profitability. Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, OSHA requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed. Handle guest complaints and operational issues effectively and professionally. Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are maintained. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee evaluations. Prepare operational reports and communicate important issues to the General Manager. Serve as the manager on duty and assume leadership of hotel operations when the General Manager is unavailable. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of hotel/hospitality industry experience. Previous experience in a hotel supervisory or management position required. Strong knowledge of Front Office and overall hotel operations. Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent customer-service and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required. Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment. Proficiency with hotel PMS systems and Microsoft Office preferred. Knowledge of U.S. hotel operations, employment practices, and safety standards preferred.
Compensation Base Salary:
$45,000 annually

Employment:
Full-time Compensation and bonus eligibility will be subject to the hotel's applicable policies and performance requirements.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
