$70,000 + bonuses & commission At Pony Express Car Wash, we know that great leadership drives success—and we're looking for a high-energy, hands-on General Manager to lead our team and ensure our operations run at peak performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about service excellence, and has the skills to inspire and lead a team to success. As General Manager, you'll take full ownership of daily operations, team development, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. You'll lead by example, develop team members, and foster a positive, productive culture where everyone is set up to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all daily operations of the car wash facility Lead the team in setting, tracking, and achieving weekly and monthly goals Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members to meet performance and service standards Maintain a strong, positive team culture through clear communication and consistent leadership Monitor customer satisfaction and address issues promptly to ensure top-tier service Conduct regular performance reviews and ongoing development of staff Ensure proper use and maintenance of all equipment; troubleshoot issues when needed Maintain knowledge of wash products, chemicals, and best practices for wash quality Enforce safety protocols and operational procedures across the facility
What We're Looking For:
Proven leadership experience in a high-volume service, retail, or car wash environment Strong people management and communication skills Ability to coach, delegate, and lead by example Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure Results-driven, highly organized, and self-motivated Comfortable performing and teaching basic maintenance and technical tasks A passion for customer service and continuous improvement
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required 3+ years of experience in a customer service or operations leadership role Previous general management or multi-team leadership experience preferred Why Join Us?
