NYSE:
LOAR) is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead one of its operating businesses located in the midwestern United States. Loar Group specializes in acquiring and growing companies that provide highly engineered products and repair services for the global aerospace and defense market. The General Manager will have full responsibility for the business, including P&L performance, operations, quality, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth. This role is well suited for a leader who enjoys building organizations, developing teams, improving processes, and creating the structure necessary to support an expanding business. The company is at an important stage in its development, with opportunities to strengthen operational performance, enhance organizational capabilities, and support strategic growth initiatives. The General Manager will play a key role in shaping the direction of the business while ensuring the business consistently meets and exceeds expectations for customer commitments, quality standards, and financial performance.
The General Manager will:
  • Own the full P&L and lead the business to achieve its financial, customer, operational, quality, and organizational objectives.
  • Set the direction for the business and translate growth priorities into clear annual plans and operating targets that deliver measurable results.
  • Build the operating systems, leadership routines, and organizational capabilities required to support sustained growth and future strategic initiatives.
  • Lead day-to-day MRO operations while maintaining compliance with FAA Part 145 and all applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Evaluate operating results, trends, cash performance, and key performance indicators.
  • Improve profitability, throughput, delivery, and customer performance by setting clear expectations, measuring results, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Develop and strengthen the leadership team, establish clear accountability, and create an environment where employees understand priorities and deliver results.
  • Partner with Loar leadership on strategic priorities, investment decisions, commercial opportunities, and the long-term growth plan for the business.
  • Represent the business with customers and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive operations or business leadership experience, preferably within aviation, aerospace, defense, or a regulated MRO environment.
  • Demonstrated P&L leadership or significant responsibility for financial performance, operating plans, and business results.
  • Experience improving operations and building the processes, teams, and management routines needed to support growth.
  • Working knowledge of FAA Part 145 or comparable regulated repair, manufacturing, or quality environments is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
Pay:
$165,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
