We are looking for a passionate, driven, and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth, compliant, and successful operation of our dispensary.
Job Summary:
As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with all local and state cannabis regulations, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong communication skills, a positive and professional demeanor, and a deep commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and motivate a team of staff to achieve store goals and deliver exceptional customer service Manage scheduling, payroll, performance evaluations, and team development Oversee daily dispensary operations including inventory management, compliance, and reporting Maintain a deep understanding of cannabis products and industry regulations Ensure compliance with all state and local laws and regulations Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies as needed Address customer concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in a retail or cannabis-related environment Advanced proficiency in Excel as well as other Microsoft Office applications Cannabis industry experience is a strong plus, but not required Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred (but not required) Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid organizational and time management abilities Must be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Join Vertical Dispensary?
