Job Description:

In addition to providing the essential foundation for all Sciences and Engineering programs, and electives to the University-wide community, the Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science (MACT) provides rigorous pedagogy to Mathematics majors, as well as its applied Actuarial Science and Data Science programs. The School also boasts graduate, Masters and Doctorates, in the Natural Sciences, Global Public Health and in Engineering, thereby providing opportunities for collaborative didactics and research. In that context, MACT welcomes applicants that are well-grounded in Statistics and Data Analysis and their diverse applications, with the flexibility to participate in the curriculum across various sub-disciplines, from freshmen to graduate. For all positions, applicants should be committed to excellent classroom teaching and learning as well as demonstrating a strong research record (senior faculty) or a clear potential for research (junior faculty). Preference will be given to applicants who will contribute to the Department, School, University, and the outside communities in the field.
