CONVENIENCE STORE GENERAL MANAGER

Mach 1 on Banker Street in Effingham, Illinois Earn 70,000 -75,000 per year

We take extreme pride in our locations and strive to provide excellent customer service while encouraging a fun work environment. In this retail management position, you are an essential part of who we are. You are responsible for management of the entire location, providing exemplary customer service, building team member relations, and ensuring the highest profitability of the location.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision of 10-12 sales associates Interviewing, hiring, and training sales associates Ensuring a safe environment for customers and employees Ensure the store's appearance reflects the company's standards Comply with federal and state laws pertaining to the store's operation Responsible for daily paperwork, daily bank deposits, inventory counts, cash audits, invoice processing, order placement, scheduling, controlling labor hours, overseeing day to day operations Monitor competitor pricing at the store's local competition

QUALIFICATIONS

Team player attitude with upbeat personality Trustworthy and professional Effective communication Self-motivated Able to multi-task and be extremely organized Physically able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
