Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Club Manager to join our team at Anytime Fitness of Elgin.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for member experience with retaining current members, overseeing daily operations, managing a team and driving sales growth. If you have a passion for fitness and sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask, we encourage you to apply.

• Responsibilities:

• Assist the Club Manager in implementing sales strategies and promotions
• Providing guidance and feedback to enhance performance, member experience, and member retention
• Conduct performance evaluations and develop action plans to improve sales and member satisfaction
• Manage inventory levels, including receiving and stocking products, and conducting inventory control
• Maintain a clean and organized club, ensuring a welcoming environment for members
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve sales goals and improve member services
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with members and the community
• Stay up-to-date on new products and services, and communicate effectively with members about their features and benefits

• Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably in fitness sales or gym setting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with member retention
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Sales management experience a plus
